Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is likely to boost its customs duty revenue by 14.1% year-on-year in fiscal year 2019/2020, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) projected.
Total customs duty revenue in the North African state is expected to rise to EGP 51.7 billion in FY19/20, the MoF said in a statement.
The Egyptian Tax Authority is forecast to maintain the integrated institutional development which began in FY17/18, according to the statement.
The government plans to raise its total annual revenue by 16% in the next fiscal year to reach EGP 1.134 billion.
