Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is targeting a gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 6% in fiscal year 2019/2020, according to official data.
The North African state is expected to achieve a GDP growth of 5.6% in FY18/19, data showed.
The Egyptian Ministry of Finance (MoF) has estimated GDP growth at 6.5% for FY20/21 and at 7% for FY21/22, data revealed.
The government has slashed the GDP growth estimation to 5.6% from 5.8% for FY18/19, according to a statement.
