Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s investment minister Sahar Nasr is in talks with General Electric MENA and Turkey’s (GE) CEO Nabil Habayeb over boosting the company’s investments in Egypt over the coming period.
Egypt provides a suitable legislative environment for investors to pump fresh investments, state news agency MENA reported on Monday, citing Nasr as saying.
On the other hand, GE’s officials reiterated that the company is looking forward to injecting further investments into the North African nation in a bid to provide job opportunities over the coming years and bolster the Egyptian government’s objectives.
GE supports the transport network in the Arab world's most populous country, particularly transmitting goods via railways, which in return slash transport costs and foster efficiency.
