Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt targets to build up ten new industrial zones for spinning and weaving during five years, said Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil on Monday.
The ministry further plans to establish a huge zone for spinning and weaving industries in El Mahalla El Kubra over the coming period, the minister added.
The ministry has started to take steps towards allocating one million square kilometers for the industry in Cairo’s north east city, Badr.
The ministry is keen on effectuating the Supreme Council for Textile Industries’ decisions on setting indicative prices for yarns.
