Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s food exports recorded $2.8 billion (EGP 49.28 billion) during 2018, Food Export Council’s (FEC) chairman Hani Berzi said on Thursday.
Food exports account for 13% of Egypt’s non-oil exports, he added.
Berzi stated that the number of official food industry facilities has reached 8,000, with around 7 million workers, and total investments of EGP 500 billion
