Cairo – Mubasher: African Development Bank (AfDB) approved granting Egypt the second tranche of a three-year loan, said Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasser on Tuesday.
The second tranche is worth $500 million out of $1.5 million loan program, the minister added, clarifying that Egypt had received the first tranche in January 2016.
Earlier, the minister announced signing a credit facility agreement with the bank for supporting Egypt's comprehensive economic program and budget.
