Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian government nominated the former governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Hisham Ramez, for the post of Chairman of the Arab International Bank (AIB).
In a press release, Egypt’s Prime Minister appointed three state representatives in AIB for a three-year term.
According to Egypt’s Daily News, AIB’s “Board of Directors now includes Gamal Negm, Chairman since 11 April, 2012; Mohamed Ibrahim Abduljawad, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director since 28 December 2005; and Mohamed Kamal El-Din Barakat, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director since 26 October 2014.”
