Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's government has no plans to privatise the Egyptian National Railways, Almasry Alyoum newspaper on Saturday reported, citing prime minister Sherif Ismail as saying.
The private sector’s participation in the railway will be in the services sector, Ismail added, noting that the government plans to improve the railway sector during the coming period.
Egypt's railways have continually suffer from losses and frequent accidents.
