Egypt implements EGP 1.44bn wastewater projects in Assiut

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of housing Assem El-Gazzar announced that three wastewater projects are being implemented with a combined cost of EGP 1.44 billion in the Egyptian governorate of Assiut, Akhbar El-Yom reported on Sunday.

These projects include a sewage network and plant with a capacity of 52,000 cubic metres per day in Dairut and a sewage plant with a capacity of 33,000 cubic metres per day serving Al Badari and Sahel Selim as well as a sewage plant in Arab El Madabegh.

Moreover, three other sewage plants with a cost of EGP 725 million are currently in the pilot operation phase.
