Cairo-Mubasher: Khalid Hanafi, Egypt’s minister of supply, met with ambassador of Cyprus to Cairo to discuss boosting the mutual economic and political ties between Egypt and Cyprus.
In addition, the two parties discussed forming a strategic alliance to increase the trade exchange and benefit from Cyprus’ location to export the products of Holding Company for Food Industries (HCFI) to European counties.
Cyprus can also benefit from Egypt’s geographical location to export its products to the GCC and African countries.
During the meeting, Hanafi said Cyprus can also capitalise on the logistics centre for grain handling which will be established in Damietta.
