Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Mohamed Abdel-Ati, on Wednesday opened four new river bus and taxi docks in Dakahlia Governorate, with total investments of EGP 23 million.
Egypt is giving more attention to the development of river transport in a bid to contribute to the mitigation of traffic jam in roads, Abdel-Ati added.
The minister noted that the ministry was cooperating with governorates to develop river transport among different governorates in Egypt.
