Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Public Administration for Military Products has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Russia’s TMK and Tube-2000 companies.
Under the MoU, both the Egyptian and the Russian sides will cooperate to localise technologies used in the manufacturing of tubes installed in Nuclear Power Plants for the planned Plant in El Dabaa, according to a ministerial statement.
Egypt’s Ministry of Military Production is aiming at utilising its potential to transfer these technologies to its subsidiaries, the statement added.
The ministry stressed its support for sustainable development in all sectors and realise Egypt’s goals to diversify renewable and clean energy resources.
