Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Transportation has signed a contract with Canada’s Bombardier to set up two high-speed monorail lines, Ahram Gate reported.
The first 53-kilometre monorail line will link Nasr City to the New Administrative Capital, while the other 42-kilometre will connect Giza to 6th of October City.
The 30-year deal involves the establishment, operation, and maintenance of the two monorail lines.
