Egypt is able to carry out projects with local firms, equipment – President

Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian President, Abdel Fatah El-Sisi affirmed that the country is ready to implement all coming projects in collaboration with domestic firms and equipment.

The nation hopes to carry out large project to be larger than Suez Canal bridges’ project, and we are ready to cooperate in metro's fourth phase with Egyptian companies and equipment, Middle East News Agecny reported, citing El-Sisi as saying.

The coming projects' prices will not be the same as the current ones for clients, as carrying out tunnels for metro line without equipment will cost between EGP 20 billion and EGP 30 billion loans from banks.

The amount for implementing the projects will rise between EGP 10 billion and EGP 12 billion if equipment transferred to the project's location, the president concluded.
