Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's ministry of interior announced providing owners of electric cars with temporary plates and licences until the finalisation of licensing procedures for the battery-powered vehicles.
The interior ministry issued instructions to the traffic departments to give owners of these vehicles temporary licences and plates as per the traffic law and its executive regulations, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.
This step came as part of the ministry’s efforts to facilitate measures for citizens who imported electric cars from abroad.
