Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced that it will keep the customs US dollar unchanged at EGP 16 per dollar till the end of December.
The decision to maintain the price of the customs dollar comes in line with the relative stability seen in the exchange rate of the US currency against the Egyptian pound as well as the overall stability witnessed by the Egyptian economy, the MoF said in a statement released late Wednesday.
Earlier this month, the MoF had announced maintaining the price of the customs dollar against the local currency at EGP 16 per dollar throughout November.
