Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee (FAPC) has decided in its meeting on Thursday to maintain gasoline prices in the local market, Reuters reported.
The per-litre prices of 80-octane, 92-octane, and 95-octane gasoline were kept at EGP 6.5, EGP 7.75, and EGP 8.75, respectively.
The price of industrial-use mazut stabilised at EGP 4,250 per tonne.
“This is in light of the rise in the price of Brent crude in international markets from October to December,” Egypt’s oil ministry said in a statement.
In October, Egypt's FAPC cut gasoline prices in the local market by 25 piasters per litre.
