Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has launched the largest humanitarian convoy targeting about 5 million eligible citizens at a total cost of EGP 650 million.
The convoy has been launched in collaboration with Tahya Misr Fund, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and the Ministry of Health, as well as 18 non-government organisations (NGOs), Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Sunday during Abwab El-Kheir Celebration.
Abwab El-Kheir Celebration is held in the New Administrative Capital in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Madbouly said that Tahya Misr Fund currently adopts six main humanitarian programmes covering healthcare, urban development, social support, education, and economic empowerment.
