Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee (FAPC) has decided in its meeting to maintain gasoline prices in the local market until the end of December.
The per-litre prices of 80-octane, 92-octane, and 95-octane gasoline were kept at EGP 6.25, EGP 7.50, and EGP 8.50, respectively, according to a statement late on Wednesday.
In addition, the price of industrial-use mazut was kept at EGP 3,900 per tonne.
In July 2019, Egypt started implementing a price index mechanism on all petroleum products on a quarterly basis.
