Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is one of four countries that entered the Bloomberg Innovation Index for the first time in 2020.
The North African nation came in the 58th spot out of the top 60 countries listed in the innovation index which uses several measurement metrics such as research and development (R&D) expenses, manufacturing capability, and concentration of high-tech public companies
Germany topped the list as the world’s most innovative country, breaking South Korea’s six-year winning streak.
