Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has made a new oil discovery in Abu Senan area in the Western Desert.
The discovery was made after Borg El-Arab Petroleum and Mineral Company drilled El Salmiya-5 well which started to produce 4,100 barrels of crude oil and 18 million cubic feet of gas per day, according to a statement on Wednesday.
It is noteworthy to mention that in December 2019, the Borg El-Arab Petroleum Company announced a major oil discovery in ASH-2 in the Abu Senan area in the Western Desert.
