Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt manufacturing industries index recorded an increase of 8.2% in October, according to the Central Agency for public mobilization and statistics (CAPMAS).
The index of mining and quarrying activities went up to 128.7 points in October compared with 118.67 points a month earlier.
The index for food manufacturing also surged 23.8% to 140.59 points compared with 113.53 points at the previous month.
