Egypt mulls facilitating int'l trade movement

Cairo-Mubasher: The Egyptian government decided to form four working groups to discuss facilitating the international trade movement for the country, said Atef Al-Feki, Assistant Finance Minister for Information.

The move aims to upgrade the state's rating in the international trade index issued annually by the World Bank, Al-Feki noted.

He added that the four groups will study the one-stop shop mechanism to be applied in all customs ports in order to reduce the clearance time and the cost of dealing with the Egyptian ports.
