Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is considering to issue green bonds in fiscal year 2019/2020 in abid to benefit from its relatively low-interest as compared with the other Eurobonds, a government source said.

The government is currently working on setting the legislative environment to issue the green bonds in light of the global direction towards these debt notes that aim to finance eco-friendly projects, Enterprise reported, citing the source.
