Cairo–Mubasher: The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is currently preparing studies for a maritime transport project from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean, said Minister Hossam Maghazi.
He added that improvement of river transportation in Egypt is important for this project.
After meeting with the Minister of Transport Saad Al-Jyoshi, Maghazi said a high technical committee is being formed from the experts of the two ministries to solve the problems of joint river transportation.
