Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's Ministry of Finance (MoF) on Tuesday announced that it was considering issuing a new coin of EGP 2 to facilitate payment for Egyptians.
The EGP 2 coin would be similar to the EUR 2 coin and other European and Arab country coins.
The ministry also said it would issue larger quantities of coins in the coming period.
