Egypt mulls shipping line to boost exports to Russia

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's government is studying a link between local ports to Russia ones in an effort to bolster exports, the ministry of trade said on Friday.

It added that creating a shipping line between the two countries is vital, as most of Egypt's exports to Russia are agricultural products that require rapid shipping mechanism.

Egypt seeks to boost the value of exports to Russia to $700 million by 2018, according to the ministry's statement.
