Egypt orders restaurants, shops, clubs to close at night

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government announced that all restaurants, coffee shops, casinos, night clubs, bars, shopping malls, sports clubs, and youth centres will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. every day until the end of March.

This rule excludes home delivery services as well as grocery shops, bakeries, supermarkets, and pharmacies inside and outside malls, according to a statement on Thursday.

These measures are part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
