Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian petroleum ministry has signed a partnership agreement with the US-based Baker Hughes, a GE subsidiary, to launch Egypt’s Upstream Gateway Project to electronically promote petroleum areas and oil explorations.
The project is part of the ministry’s development programme, which is currently being implemented, petroleum minister Tarek El-Molla highlighted on the sidelines of EGYPS 2018.
Egypt’s gateway project targets to upgrade newly developed mechanisms to market oil and gas exploration zones through the international information network, the minister indicated.
He also added that the project is a step forward in placing promising petroleum zones on the international investment chart in terms of oil and gas exploration.
On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has inaugurated the Egypt Petroleum Show 2018 (EGYPS 2018).
