Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has disbursed more than EGP 2 billion worth of overdue export subsidies during April and May.
This brings the total amount of paid export subsidies owed by the Export Development Fund from July 2019 to the end of last May to EGP 5.2 billion, minister of finance, Mohamed Maait, said in a statement on Thursday.
During June, the finance ministry aims to disburse more than EGP 1 billion in export subsidies in a bid to help exporters withstand the current crisis.
