Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt prepares to offer five to six entities for listing on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) within the upcoming period, said Minister of Finance Amr El-Garhy.
“The entities are operating at each of the industrial, banking and petroleum sectors,” added El-Garhy on the sideline of economic conference held in Egypt.
Earlier, the Ministry of Petroleum unveiled its intention to float 20% stake in eight state – owned companies on the Egyptian Exchange.
Previously, El-Garhy said that Egypt seeks to raise nearly EGP 6 to EGP 8 billion from offering stakes in publicly owned companies on Egypt’s bourse.
