Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s minister of supply and internal trade, Ali Meselhy, revealed plans to develop and merge some subsidiaries of Holding Company for Food Industries, Al-Ahram newspaper reported.
The companies proposed to be merged include Kaha Company for Preserved Foods and Idfina Company for Food Industries.
Meselhy affirmed the importance of maximising economic return on assets, developing production lines, and raising the efficiency of staff of the two companies.
This step aims to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian products in local, Arab, and international markets, he added.
