Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian pound’s (EGP) X-rate is likely to increase against the US dollar during 2017, said The Economist in a report published last week.
The free flotation is forecast to boost the pound by 14%, the journal added.
Chief economist Simon Baptist stated “we see only 12 appreciating against the US dollar in the year ahead. Our most bullish call is for the Egyptian pound.”
