Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian pound remained unchanged at 7.73 per U.S. dollar a forex auction held Thursday by the central bank.
The central bank sold $38.8 million to banks. It had offered $40 million.
Meanwhile, an official at a Cairo exchange bureau said – on condition of anonymity – that the U.S. dollar in the black market reached 9.15 for buying and 9.10 for selling.
