Egypt president dismisses top auditor Geneina

Cairo – Mubasher: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi dismissed the chairman of the Central Auditing Organization (CAO) from his position late Monday.

Earlier, CAO chairman announced that, by the end of 2015, the country lost EGP 600 billion due to corruption.

Accordingly, the president formed a fact-finding committee that concluded that the former chairman exaggerated corruption figures and misused resolved facts to mislead the public opinion.
