Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt sold treasury bonds maturing for three different terms at EGP 4.25 billion on Monday, said the Ministry of Finance.
The average yield on three-year bonds rose to 16.389% at EGP 2.75 billion, compared with 15.521% on 27 June 2016.
The yield of seven-year bonds declined to 17.353% at EGP 750 million, compared with 17.521% in the previous auction
The average yield on the EGP 750 million zero-coupon bond rose to 15.329% from 5.964%
The government earlier announced issuing EGP 121.25 billion ($13.63 billion) in treasury bonds and bills during August 2016.
