Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has announced raising fuel prices effective Saturday.
The price of fuel Octane 95 will rise to EGP 7.75 per litre from EGP 6.75, while Octane 92 will increase to EGP 6.75 per litre from EGP 5.
Moreover, Octane 80 will rise to EGP 5.50 per litre, the ministry said.
Following the fuel price hike, diesel fuel has risen to EGP 5.5 per litre.
As for home gas cylinders, their new official price will be EGP 50, whereas the price for those for commercial use has been increased to EGP 100 per cylinder.
