Cairo – Mubasher: Centamin plc on Wednesday said that Egypt's profits from Sukari gold production amounted to $133.37 million in 2017.
Egypt's revenues stood at about $190.3 million from Centamin, the company added in a statement.
The Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) of Egypt’s petroleum ministry is expected to receive around $137 million in 2018, according to Centamin’s general manager and managing director of Sukari mine.
