Egypt reports 16 new coronavirus cases

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the detection of 16 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID).

The new cases include eight Egyptians and eight foreigners, the spokesman of the health ministry Khaled Megahed said in a statement late on Sunday.

They all had contact with infected persons detected earlier, except for an Egyptian citizen returning from Italy, Megahed added. 

The total number of confirmed cases in the most populous Arab nation reached 126, including 2 deaths and 26 recoveries, he pointed out.
