Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health confirmed the detection of 227 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 13 new deaths.
In addition, 39 cases recovered and were discharged from the quarantine hospital during the last 24 hours, the spokesman of the health ministry Khaled Megahed said in a statement late on Saturday.
The total number of infections reached 4,319, including 1,114 recoveries and 307 deaths.
