Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Health confirmed the detection of 348 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing its total to 6,813.
In addition, 70 cases recovered and were discharged from the quarantine hospital during the last 24 hours, the spokesman of the health ministry Khaled Megahed said in a statement late on Monday.
The total number of recoveries reached 1,632.
The health ministry also reported seven new deaths, taking the tally to 436.
