Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian finance minister Mohamed Maait issued a decree amending some regulations of the income tax law.
Under the decision, individual taxpayers, natural persons owning a commercial, industrial, professional, or real estate activity or an equity investment, to submit their tax returns online via https://www.incometax.gov.eg starting from January 2021, according to a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier, the finance ministry required corporates to submit their tax returns online and made it optional for individuals as part of the development plans by the Egyptian Tax Authority towards digital transformation.
