Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Al Baraka Bank reported a surge of 101% in its profits for the first quarter of 2016, according to a press release.
The bank earned EGP127.4 million ($14.3 million), compared to EGP63.37 million ($7.1 million) for the year-ago quarter.
In 2015, the bank’s profit rose 17.7% year-over-year to EGP 265 million from EGP 225 million.
