Cairo – Mubasher: CI Capital Holding on Monday announced that the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) has issued a final ruling against one of its arms with a fine of EGP 3.2 million.
A commercial arbitration case was filed against CI Capital’s unit at the CRCICA in a request for compensation of EGP 50 million, including interests, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
The final ruling was filed with the claimant’s entitlement of EGP 3.2 million, CI Capital said.
This would not negatively impact the financial statements of CI Capital or its subsidiaries, the company stressed.
It is worth noting that CI Capital had recorded a consolidated net profit of EGP 487.25 million in 2018, versus EGP 274.19 million in 2017.
