Egypt’s EETC inks deal to build substation at EGP 295m

Cairo – Mubasher:  The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) signed an agreement with Energya Power & Telecom Solutions to establish a substation at a cost of EGP 295 million.

The 220/66/11 kv gas insulated switchgear (GSI) substation will serve Cairo and will be financed from EETC’s resources, according to a statement on Thursday.

The contract will be executed over a period of 12 months.
