Egypt’s EGAS pens natural gas vehicle conversion deal with NSPO

Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) signed an agreement with the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO).

Under the deal, stations of the National Petroleum Company (NPCO) will provide natural gas refuelling services as well as conversion services of diesel-operated vehicles to gasoline-natural gas hybrids, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Petroleum on Wednesday.

A total of 54 natural gas stations will be established in 15 governorates with plans to reach 350 stations in total over the next six years, the statement added.
