Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will meet US President Donald Trump in an official visit to Washington on 3 April, the White House announced on Tuesday.
“President Trump and President El-Sisi will use the visit to build on the positive momentum they have built for the United States-Egypt relationship,” a statement said. “They will discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, including how to defeat ISIS and pursue peace and stability in the region”.
President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt Anis Aclimandos said in TV statements that Egypt accounts for 30% of total US investments in Africa, noting that the trade relations between the two countries are not equal given the large amount of Egypt’s imports.
US investments in Egypt rose by $2 billion during 2016 compared to 2010, Aclimandos added.
