Cairo – Mubasher: Global depository receipts owned by Egyptian companies declined through 2015, within the range of 22% to 55% except the GDRs of Edita Food Industries.
The GDRs of Commercial International Bank (CIB) went down by 35%, ending 2015 at $4.3 down from $6.58 at the beginning of 2015.
The stocks of CIB on Egypt's bourse kept steady near the price level of EGP 38.09 through 2015, against EGP 38.52 at the beginning of 2015 with trading value of EGP 17.7 billion.
EFG-Hermes' GDRs slide 55% through 2015, closing at $1.80 compared with $4 at the start of 2015.
The GDRs of Orascom Telecom Media declined 22%, to close 2015 at $0.68 against $0.87 at the beginning of 2015.
GDRs owned by Global Telecom sagged 52% to close at $1.30 by the end of 2015, down from $2.7 at the beginning of the year.
Telecom Egypt's GDRs fell 36% reaching $4.49 by the end of 2015, against $7 the opening price of 2015.
GDRs of Edita Food Industries came the sole gainer through 2015, as they closed at $17.5 up from $14.5 at the beginning of 2015.
