Cairo – Mubasher: Global depository receipts owned by Egyptian companies were down on Thursday on London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Commercial International Bank’s GDRs fell by 0.71% to close at $4.9. They hit intraday high and low at $5.20 and $4.88 respectively.
The bank’s stock rose by 3.77% to reach EGP 43.59 by mid-session on Cairo bourse.
Similarly, Orascom Telecom Media’ GDRs sagged 4.33% to $0.43. They peaked to $0.55 and bottomed out at $0.43 during the day.

GDRs owned by Global Telecom Holding slid 2.4% to $1.02 from $1.35 on Tuesday. They recorded intraday high and low at $1.10 and $0.98 respectively.
The company’s stock on Egyptian Exchange (EGX) added 3.11% at EGP 1.65.
Edita Food Industries’ GDRs went down by 0.42% to $17.9. The company’s stock rose 1.4% to EGP 33 on Egypt’s bourse.
EGX resumed its positive performance in Thursday's mid-day trade, supported by the local and Arab buying.
