Egypt’s GDRs mixed on London bourse

Cairo – Mubasher: The global depository receipts (GDRs) of the Egyptian companies listed on London Stock Exchange (LSE), kicked off this week trade on mixed note, as it showed mixed performance on Monday.

The GDRs owned by the Commercial International Bank (CIB) surged 6.2% to $3.85 by 12:30 Cairo timing.

The lender’s share price slide 0.82% to EGP 31.5 on Cairo bourse.

The GDRs of Orascom Telecom Media went up 1.61% to $0.63, while the company’s stocks fell 3.5% on the Egyptian Exchange.

Meanwhile, the Global Telecom’s GDRs edged down 0.88% to $1.12, while the company’s stocks lost 2.22% on Egypt’s bourse.

The remaining Egypt's GDRs remained unchanged on London bourse.
